Yes. You can withdraw your funds in any currency to any bank account in your name.

Can I buy UCITS/Irish domiciled ETFs on Paasa?

Yes. Paasa provides access to UCITS ETFs listed in Europe, including those domiciled in Ireland. You can purchase them in whole units or fractions, making it easy to invest any amount you choose.

Can NRIs use Paasa?

Yes. NRIs, along with resident Indians, can invest globally with Paasa. If funds are transferred from an NRE/NRO account in India, a $1 million annual limit applies. If funds are transferred from a bank in the country of residence, there's no limit unless that country imposes capital controls.

Who are the securities held with?

All your cash and holdings are held with IBKR under your name and PAN.

What happens if Paasa ceases operations?

If Paasa ceases operations, your assets will still be safely held and accessible through IBKR

How is the account SIPC ensured?

Your assets are SIPC insured upto $500,000 total, including $250,000 for cash (held for the purpose of trading/securities) through IBKR. This is standard for all U.S. brokers.

How do taxes work?

Short term capital gains are taxed at your marginal income tax rate. Long term capital gains (>2 years) are taxed at 12.5%. Dividends are taxed at your marginal income tax rate.
