“When I moved from US to Dubai, I dreaded the residency paperwork that came with it.”
You moved from San Francisco back to Dubai. What did you expect the process to involve?
When I moved back, the part I braced for was the paperwork, updating my residency status across jurisdictions. Anyone who has moved countries knows what that usually means: weeks of email threads, documents requested twice, a process that stalls the moment one party goes quiet.
How did Paasa handle it?
The team took it off my plate entirely and handled it end to end. The thing I expected to be the hardest part of the move turned out to be the part I barely had to think about.
What was your takeaway from the experience?
Most platforms work hard to make investing look effortless on the screen. With global investing, the part that decides your actual experience is behind the scenes: compliance, onboarding, support, execution.
In his own words
The Paasa team made what I expected to be operational friction feel surprisingly simple.
