About
Mapletree Industrial Trust (MIT) is a publicly listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) on the Singapore Exchange's Main Board. Its primary objective is to strategically acquire and manage a diverse array of income-generating properties. This includes industrial real estate predominantly located in Singapore, as well as data centres situated globally outside of Singapore. The trust also holds various real estate-related assets. As of September 30, 2020, MIT's total assets under management reached S$6.6 billion. This substantial portfolio comprised 84 properties within Singapore and an additional 27 properties across North America. Notably, 13 of these North American assets are data centres, held through a joint venture with Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd. MIT's property holdings span a comprehensive range of industrial types, including Data Centres, Hi-Tech Buildings, Business Park Buildings, Flatted Factories, Stack-up/Ramp-up Buildings, and Light Industrial Buildings. Operational management of MIT is handled by Mapletree Industrial Trust Management Ltd., with Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd serving as its sponsor.
