The company conducts its operations across four primary business divisions: Connected Technology Solutions, Essential Dental Solutions, Orthodontic and Implant Solutions, and Wellspect Healthcare. The Connected Technology Solutions segment provides advanced diagnostic and treatment tools, including imaging systems, motorized dental handpieces, comprehensive treatment centers, and various other instruments. This segment also features cutting-edge intraoral scanners, 3D printers, milling machines, and the renowned CEREC system, which facilitates efficient, chairside ceramic restorations. Within the Essential Dental Solutions segment, DENTSPLY SIRONA supplies a wide array of products crucial for general dentistry. This includes specialized motorized endodontic handpieces, files, sealers, irrigation needles, and supplementary instruments for root canal treatments. Furthermore, it offers restorative materials, light-curing units, dental diagnostic systems, ultrasonic scalers and polishers, alongside consumables such as dental anesthetics, prophylaxis paste, sealants, and impression materials. The Orthodontic and Implant Solutions division focuses on specialized solutions for tooth alignment and replacement. Its offerings encompass the SureSmile clear aligner system, complete with whitening kits and retainers, as well as the VPro high-frequency vibration device and the SureSmile Simulator. Key digital platforms like DS Core are provided for 3D visualization of patient treatment outcomes. This segment also delivers comprehensive dental implant products, digital dentures, porcelain for crowns and bridges, solutions for bone regeneration and restoration, advanced treatment planning software, and educational resources. Additional products include custom abutments, tapered immediate-load screws, regenerative bone growth factor, artificial teeth, and precious metal dental alloys. Finally, the Wellspect Healthcare segment is dedicated to specific medical consumable products, marketing intermittent urinary catheters under the LoFric brand and irrigation systems under the Navina brand. Established in 1877, the company originally operated as DENTSPLY International Inc. before rebranding to DENTSPLY SIRONA Inc. in February 2016. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Charlotte, North Carolina.
