Founded in 1936 and headquartered in Kawasaki, Japan, SWCC Showa Holdings Co., Ltd. is a diversified enterprise with an international presence, primarily engaged across the energy systems, communication systems, and device manufacturing sectors. Its Electrical Wire and Wire Rod division offers a comprehensive array of electrical conductors, including bare wires, rubber and plastic insulated wires, power distribution apparatus, specialized bus cables, and overhead lines. The Energy System division focuses on providing robust electric power cables, essential accessories, and complete installation services for both power and communication infrastructures. Separately, a dedicated Magnet Wire segment specializes in the production of magnet wires. Within communication systems, the company delivers advanced optical fiber cables, various communication cables and their associated accessories, optical peripheral devices, connector assemblies, and integrated network solutions. The Device segment manufactures precision wire harnesses, sophisticated systems for seismic isolation and vibration damping, along with critical components for photocopiers and printing machinery. Further operations encompass distribution services and advancements in superconducting wire technology. The company also produces and supplies rollers for information processing systems, fire-resistant and coated wiring, and various anti-vibration solutions such as seismic isolators, dampers, and vibration isolation rubber. Additionally, it markets a selection of vibration-control equipment, air spring vibration isolators, optical measuring devices, precision surface plates, and a broad spectrum of electrical and electronic goods.
