About
WisdomTree Physical Platinum is a UCITS-eligible Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) that offers investors a straightforward, cost-effective, and secure means to gain exposure to physical platinum. Its performance is designed to track the movements of the physical platinum spot price, after deducting the applicable management fee. The ETC is fully collateralized by physical, specifically allocated platinum bullion, which is held in safekeeping by HSBC Bank plc, acting as the custodian. Only platinum bars that conform to the rigorous "Good Delivery" standards of the London Platinum and Palladium Association (LPPM) are accepted. Each physical bar is kept separate, individually identified, and explicitly assigned. Consequently, a 1% daily increase in the physical platinum price would typically lead to a 1% rise in the ETC's value (excluding fees), and a 1% decrease would result in a corresponding 1% fall.
