About
The WisdomTree Physical Platinum is an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC), eligible for UCITS, designed to provide investors with a straightforward, economical, and secure method to gain exposure to physical platinum. It aims to mirror the daily price fluctuations of spot physical platinum, net of its ongoing management fees. The ETC's value is entirely underpinned by actual, allocated platinum bars, securely stored by its custodian, HSBC Bank plc. The custodian strictly accepts only platinum metal that complies with the stringent "Good Delivery" standards established by the London Platinum and Palladium Association (LPPM). Each specific platinum bar is kept distinct, uniquely identified, and individually assigned. For clarity, if the price of physical platinum were to increase by 1% in a day, the ETC's value would also generally rise by 1%, before fees; conversely, a 1% fall in platinum's price would lead to a similar 1% decrease in the ETC's value, excluding charges.
