About
ProMIS Neurosciences, Inc. is a Canadian biotechnology firm dedicated to creating targeted therapeutic solutions for debilitating neurodegenerative conditions such as Alzheimer's disease (AD), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), and multiple system atrophy (MSA). The company leverages a unique computational discovery platform, utilizing its ProMIS and Collective Coordinates algorithms, to identify novel, disease-specific targets – known as epitopes – located on the surface of misfolded proteins. Its pipeline features several promising drug candidates, including PMN310, a monoclonal antibody designed to address toxic oligomers implicated in Alzheimer's disease. Another candidate, PMN267, targets superoxide dismutase 1 and TAR-DNA binding protein 43 in ALS, and alpha-synuclein associated with Parkinson's disease and Lewy body dementia.
