About

MeVis Medical Solutions AG develops software for recording, analyzing, and evaluating image data to manufacturers of medical devices, providers of medical IT platforms, and clinical end customers in the United States and Europe. The company provides image-based early detection and diagnosis of epidemiologically important diseases, such as breast, lung, liver, and neurological diseases. It also offers X-ray based radiography procedures, including computed tomography, mammography/digital tomosynthesis, magnetic resonance imaging, and digital sonography; as well as provides services in the field of software programming for medical technology companies, which comprise provision of software developers, product and project managers, application specialists, and test engineers. In addition, the company provides three-dimensional technical visualizations; and interactive online training to enhance the diagnostic skills of clinicians; and internet-based special applications in teleradiology. The company was founded in 1997 and is based in Bremen, Germany. MeVis Medical Solutions AG is a subsidiary of Varex Imaging Corporation.
