Phoenix Silicon International Corporation, headquartered in Hsinchu, Taiwan, is actively engaged in both the semiconductor and energy sectors. In its semiconductor division, the company provides a range of specialized wafer products. These include reclaimed wafers essential for integrated circuit (IC) manufacturing equipment, solutions for thinning wafers, and thermally oxidized wafers. These thermal oxide products are utilized in critical applications such as etch rate assessments, metal wiring tests, the creation of metal wafers, and for electrical insulation purposes. Additionally, Phoenix Silicon develops Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) components, which are incorporated into various devices including MEMS microphones, automatic focusing elements, pressure sensors, and motion-sensing technologies like gyroscopes and accelerometers.
