Established in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, in 1990, Sunplus Technology Company Limited is a global enterprise that researches, develops, designs, tests, and sells integrated circuits (ICs) primarily for consumer use. The company specializes in ICs for multimedia audio/video systems, single-chip microcontrollers, and digital signal processors. Its product lineup includes media player ICs for devices such as DVDs and portable DVD players, alongside audio ICs utilized in karaoke machines, soundbars, boom boxes, and various party and DJ speaker systems. Sunplus also supplies automotive ICs critical for in-vehicle infotainment, driver assistance, and display audio applications. Beyond its core IC products, Sunplus Technology provides Internet Protocol (IP) solutions, encompassing interface/inter-connection IP, high-performance data conversion IP (including ADC/DAC/AFE), and custom analog IP, designed for consumer, portable, and connected devices.
