Microtek International, Inc., established in 1980 and headquartered in Hsinchu City, Taiwan, specializes in the development, production, and distribution of intelligent scanning devices and computer-related peripherals for markets in China and Taiwan. The company's operations are divided into two main segments: Image Scanner and Optoelectronics. The Image Scanner division offers a wide array of products, including NDT/RT film digitizers, line cameras, industrial inspection solutions, and NTR inspecting software. It also provides various software applications for digital archiving, document, artwork, bill, and data management, along with X-ray films and their application software, plus specialized tools for gel electrophoresis and herbarium specimen analysis. Its comprehensive scanner portfolio features high-speed flatbed, automatic document feeder (ADF), advanced imaging, large-scale artwork, object, fingerprint gel, multispectral, and anti-counterfeiting scanners, as well as entry-level models and document cameras. The Optoelectronics segment focuses on manufacturing optical source devices, light measurement instruments, and complete light source manufacturing systems.
