One Seowon share is ₩1,100.00 — about ₹79 at a KRW/INR rate of 0.0722 on 8 Oct 2026. Both the Seowon price and the rupee rate move during the day, so the rupee cost changes with them.

Gains on shares held for more than 24 months are long-term and taxed at 12.5%. Gains on shares held for 24 months or less are short-term and taxed at your income-tax slab rate. Does the rupee rate affect what I make on Seowon?
Yes. Seowon is priced in KRW, so your rupee outcome combines the KRW move with the KRW/INR move between the day you remit and the day you convert back.
