About
This fund aims to track the performance of the MSCI Europe Consumer Staples Screened 20/35 index, which focuses on large and mid-capitalization companies within developed European countries. All companies included operate exclusively in the Consumer Staples sector, as defined by the Global Industry Classification Standard (GICS). Holdings are weighted by their free-float adjusted market capitalization, following MSCI's Capped Indexes methodology. This means the largest affiliated entity within the index is capped at 35%, and all other related entities are capped at 20%, with a 10% buffer applied to these limits during regular and monthly ad-hoc rebalancings. The index applies stringent environmental, social, and governance (ESG) screening, excluding companies involved in controversial weapons, those with an MSCI ESG Rating of 'CCC' or unrated status, and those deriving revenue from areas such as tobacco, conventional or nuclear weapons, civilian firearms, thermal coal, unconventional/arctic oil and gas extraction, or palm oil. Any issuer with an MSCI Controversies Score of 0 is also excluded. A key objective is to achieve a lower greenhouse gas intensity relative to the broader parent index. More information on the index's methodology is available on the MSCI website.
