About

This index, named the iBoxx MSCI ESG USD Emerging Markets Sovereigns Quality Weighted Index, seeks to reflect the performance of US dollar-denominated government bonds from emerging market countries. It covers a comprehensive range of maturities, with each constituent bond required to have a minimum remaining maturity of six months. To ensure liquidity, individual bonds must possess an outstanding amount of at least USD 1 billion and maintain a credit rating of 'B' or higher. A distinctive feature of this index is its quality-weighted methodology, which assigns greater weighting to countries exhibiting strong fundamental economic indicators and superior MSCI ESG Government Ratings. Conversely, nations with weaker economic profiles and lower ESG scores will receive a proportionally reduced allocation within the index.
