About

This Invesco Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) aims to replicate the total net return of the FTSE RAFI All-World 3000 Index, its benchmark, after accounting for associated expenses. Shareholders receive dividend distributions on a quarterly schedule. The benchmark index distinguishes itself from traditional market capitalization-weighted indices by determining the selection and weighting of its constituents based on core fundamental business metrics. These include the average sales over the previous five years, the average cash flow over the preceding five years, the current book value, and the average total dividends paid out in the last five years. To achieve its investment objective, the fund employs a sampling strategy, carefully choosing securities from the Reference Index. This selection process considers various elements such as market returns, sector and regional exposure, bond and oil performance, as well as company size, value, and growth characteristics. As a result of this sampling approach, the fund's portfolio will contain fewer individual securities than the comprehensive underlying index. The fund's holdings are rebalanced in alignment with the index's adjustments. This ETF is passively managed, meaning an investment represents ownership of fund units rather than direct title to the underlying assets held within the fund.

When does PSRW trade, in Indian time?

The London Stock Exchange ETF segment trades 12:30 pm – 9:00 pm IST. The window shifts to 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm IST when the UK is on standard time. Orders can only execute during that window.

How big is PSRW, and what does it cost to hold?

Invesco RAFI All-World Fundamental Value UCITS ETF manages about £263.0M. Its expense ratio is 0.39% a year, deducted inside the fund. It launched in 2007.

Is PSRW a UCITS ETF?

Yes. Invesco RAFI All-World Fundamental Value UCITS ETF is a UCITS fund domiciled in Ireland, set up under the European Union's UCITS rules for funds sold across Europe. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange ETF segment and trades in GBP.

What are PSRW's largest holdings?

The top three are APPLE INC USD0.00001 (2.5%), ALPHABET INC-CL A USD0.001 (1.8%) and MICROSOFT CORP USD0.00000625 (1.7%). PSRW's 10 largest positions make up 14.2% of the fund.

Is PSRW subject to US estate tax?

No. Because PSRW is domiciled in Ireland rather than the US, it is not a US-situs asset, so US estate tax does not apply to it. US-listed ETFs held directly can be taxed at up to 40% above $60,000 when they pass to your family.

Is PSRW accumulating or distributing?

Distributing. It pays dividends out to you in cash, taxed at your slab rate in India.

How are US dividends taxed inside PSRW?

The US withholds 15% on dividends from the US shares the fund holds, and that tax is paid inside the fund. You cannot claim it as a Foreign Tax Credit in India.

How are gains on PSRW taxed in India?

Units held for more than 24 months are long-term and taxed at 12.5% without indexation; units held for 24 months or less are taxed at your income-tax slab rate. The gain is worked out in rupees, so the currency move counts.

How has PSRW performed?

PSRW's price is up 24.2% over the past year and up 68.4% over five years. These figures are price change only and exclude dividends; past performance does not guarantee future returns.

How is PSRW different from a US-listed ETF?

PSRW is domiciled in Ireland rather than the US. That keeps it outside US estate tax, and dividend withholding on its US shares is 15%, paid inside the fund, instead of the 25% withheld on a US-listed ETF. The 25% can generally be claimed as a credit in India; the 15% cannot. Capital gains on both are taxed the same way in India.
