About
WisdomTree Physical Gold is an Exchange Traded Commodity (ETC) that meets UCITS eligibility standards, offering investors an easy, economical, and safe method to invest in physical gold. Its performance mirrors the fluctuations in the spot price of physical gold, less any applicable management charges. This ETC is fully supported by actual, allocated physical gold, which is securely stored by HSBC Bank plc, serving as the custodian. The custodian only accepts gold bars that meet the stringent Good Delivery rules set by the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA). Each gold bar is kept separate, uniquely identified, and specifically allocated. For instance, if the price of physical gold increases by one percent over a day, the ETC's value will similarly increase by one percent, before fees. Conversely, a one percent decrease in physical gold's price would lead to a one percent drop in the ETC's value, also before fees.
