These acquired inflation-indexed bonds generally possess maturities spanning five to twenty years from their settlement date. The portfolio’s average duration, during normal operations, is designed to closely align with that of its reference benchmark, the Bloomberg U.S. Treasury Inflation-Protected Securities (TIPS) Index.
