About

This Amundi Multi-Asset Portfolio Defensive UCITS ETF Dist functions as a fund of funds, merging the benefits of accessible, cost-effective, and liquid exchange-traded funds with the extensive diversification inherent in a multi-fund structure. Its primary goal is to achieve consistent capital growth by strategically diversifying across various asset classes, geographic regions, industries, and currencies. The fund accomplishes robust underlying diversification by investing in numerous ETFs, which collectively hold a vast array of individual securities. Operating under a strictly rule-based approach, the ETF is not actively managed based on market predictions. Its fixed asset allocation is designed with 50% in bonds and money market instruments, 40% in equities, and 10% in gold. The equity portion offers broad global exposure to a multitude of companies, while the fixed income segment primarily targets German Pfandbriefe, European government bonds, and near-cash investments. Gold exposure is obtained through investments in specific exchange-traded commodities (ETCs), such as Xetra-Gold. To maintain its intended strategic weighting, the portfolio undergoes an annual rebalancing adjustment each spring.
